BUSINESS TRAVEL & MEETINGS SHOW DÜSSELDORF ANNOUNCES A NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH GBTA EUROPE

The Business Travel & Meetings Show (BTMS), Germany’s premier business travel and meetings trade show, has announced the signing of an exclusive pan European deal with the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA).

GBTA Europe, the leading European professional body for buyers, managers and suppliers of business travel and meetings, has entered into an agreement with the show organiser, Centaur Travel Group (CTG), to become the show’s exclusive pan European association partner. The partnership signifies the importance of the show in the German industry calendar and supports the existing relationship between BTMS and German business travel association – the VDR.

“We are delighted to be supporting both the show and our association partner, VDR, in Germany at this time”, commented Paul Tilstone, managing director of GBTA Europe. “It once again demonstrates the importance of this market to European programmes and we are proud to be standing shoulder to shoulder with our German association partner.”

The partnership has been developed to offer a fully hosted programme to GBTA members from across Europe, including a wide range of benefits at the April event from transport and hotel accommodation and a mixed programme of exhibitor meetings, educational conference sessions and a choice of networking opportunities. This exclusive agreement demonstrates the importance of this Show to the business travel industry and offers GBTA buyer members VIP treatment.

The Hosted Buyer Programme, which will greatly benefit the Show’s exhibitors and attendees with a structured programme of a minimum of four meetings per day, also includes VDR buyer members and other corporate travel managers with annual budgets above €1million. Exhibitors can make appointments with the hosted (and non-hosted) buyers before the Show using the new Online Meeting Service.
